I've been up to 4 islands at one time this year. For islands I give them a week or two to see if behavior improves, then they get a chance to try again with the main group. I am constantly changing the arrangement though! They are currently in four rows facing forward with three or four on the sides. I may have to try some of your ideas now that the zip ties are breaking :)

Diane
Fifth in the MiddleDiane Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01902328050862071256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8719663751933579109.post-52145761533151889682013-01-02T07:45:12.748-08:002013-01-02T07:45:12.748-08:00I have this problem this year. My room is a long narrow rectangle, so I have trouble with moving them because of this:( Still I try to move mine once a month too so they don't get board or too friendly with their group members.

Heather
The Busy Busy Hive thebusybusyhivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13102581506901211795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8719663751933579109.post-42698252701068592482013-01-02T07:38:49.499-08:002013-01-02T07:38:49.499-08:00This is a great idea, Emily!!This is a great idea, Emily!!Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07786531176109759149noreply@blogger.com
